Azul: Crystal Mosaic offers players 2 newly designed player boards to compete over and a set of 4 overlays to keep Azul tiles neatly organized. Offering the best of both worlds - beauty and new game elements - Crystal Mosaic is a must-have expansion for Azul fans!
Those plastic overlays are honestly the fix I didn't know I needed — the tiles stop sliding around mid-game and cleanup takes seconds. The two new boards also add a nice bit of variety to our weekly sessions.
The two new player boards completely changed how our table plays, way tighter competition than the original setup. And the four overlays actually keep the tiles from sliding around mid-game, which was my biggest gripe before.
Those four overlays are honestly the game-changer for me; no more tiles sliding around when someone bumps the table mid-round. The tiles snap into place so cleanly that setup went from a chore to a couple of minutes.
