Kevin X. ★★★★★

Playing as a secret society instead of a ruler flips the usual conquest game on its head, and my group was hooked by the second round. The collector's edition components feel dense and weighty in hand, and swapping loyalties mid-game is deliciously stressful.

Lucy ★★★★★

The double-layer player boards are a nice touch for keeping all those secret bidding tokens organized mid-game, and the hidden roleplay of betting on empires rather than commanding them feels genuinely fresh. Setup took us maybe ten minutes, and our first 3-player round ended with everyone immediate

Amelia S. ★★★★★

The game box itself feels hefty and premium, and the way the five empires’ pieces are organized makes setup a breeze. I love that you’re secretly manipulating all sides instead of commanding one army—it’s such a clever twist that keeps every turn tense.
