The new crafts add a whole layer I didn't know I was missing, and the mountain tiles finally make that part of the board worth fighting over. Played it four times this week and still keep finding fresh paths to try.
The new island boards open up so many more ways to feed your vikings, and the smaller hut tiles really smooth out the mid-game. We played two games back to back, something we rarely do with the base box, just to try different craft strategies. If you play this game often, this expansion is essential
