7 Wonders Duel: Pantheon Expansion

Pantheon fixes the one thing that bugged me about Duel: the age decks felt samey after a dozen plays. Now I'm weighing a deity turn against a wonder build, and that tension changes the whole pacing. Lost my last game because I underestimated a culture's patron.

I’ve played the base game dozens of times, so adding the Pantheon expansion felt risky, but the new patron-deity mechanic completely changes the flow — now every decision feels weighted by which god you might awaken next. It’s easily the most strategic twist we’ve added to our game nights.

I was skeptical about adding gods to a game I already loved, but the way Patron cards let you draft divine powers before your turn adds a whole new layer of bluffing and counterplay. My usual strategy got completely thrown off in the best way, and every game now feels tighter and more dramatic.
