7 Wonders: Cities (New Edition)

The new city cards add a nice bit of backstabbing to our game nights, especially the ones that let you mess with a rival's resources. I was worried it'd bloat the base game but setup barely takes longer. Two plays in and nobody wants to go back.

The black city cards slot right into the base game without any rulebook headaches, and the extra layers of bluffing have already made our usual game nights twice as tense. My group argues over who’s going to corrupt whose capital now, which is exactly the kind of chaos I wanted.

The new black city cards add such a sneaky layer of strategy, and the way they let you buy influence inside other players' boards changes every round. Played it twice back-to-back with my usual group and it already feels essential.
